Beyond the necessary degrees and certificates, we are looking for people who enjoy very young children and understand that play is what they need to develop optimally and happily, even when disabilities or hardships are affecting them. We need team players who want to work with and listen to a variety of specialists, and directly cooperate with each child’s family. Our team helps provide opportunities for children and families to rise “ above the clouds ” of fear, confusion, or worry that some delays or difficulties bring. Each staff member needs to have basic crisis counseling skills and the ability to use playfulness to keep the children interested and the primary focus.
ABove the Clouds is intentionally a slow-growing company. While we expand at a measured pace, we are often looking to welcome a small number of caring, dedicated professionals to our team. At this time, we are especially interested in connecting with CA licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Physical Therapists (PTs) who value relationship‑based, family‑centered work. Professionals with specific experience in other cultures, or with bilingual skills, are also in high demand.
- We pay $50-$100 per direct therapy hour
